Keyword Research

I take the time to study your site and figure out what top keyword phrases should be on what pages. I use the Google Adwords Keyword Planner tool and it shows me two important factors.

  1. How often a phrase is searched on in Google per month.
  2. How much the phrase costs in Google Adwords (pay-per-click). We can use both of these metrics to write the most accurate and spot on meta tags for your entire site and for keyword phrases that are actually getting searched on and garner the most traffic.

Once set up in my Ranking Software I can show the exact number of times per month each keyword phrase is searched on in Google, Bing and Yahoo.

Meta Tags

Meta Tags are vital to any website to achieve first page Google organic ranking. GetSpecific has 24+ years experience and we're one of the fist website marketing firms to write meta tags thus pioneering our industry as we know it today. After we perform our keyword phrase research we write meta tags for every page within your website.

This consists of a fully optimized Title, Keywords and Description tags. Google will want to see all of your pages with meta tags and we will make sure each page is optimized in compliance for top Google organic ranking. This plan is great for eCommerce sites with lots of product pages. All of these product pages can all have keyword phrase research done to determine which phrases are searched on the most and then meta tags to secure those phrases in organic Google ranking.

On Page Optimization

Every website needs on-page optimization to have a chance at first page Google ranking. You need to give Google what their looking for so page text, page naming and page hierarchy are all necessary. Most sites have a Content Management dashboard for their web design, such as WordPress. This makes on-page optimization easier, as specific parts of your site are able to be optimized one at a time to suit Google's compliance guidelines for ranking organically. If you have a lot of pages then they all need proper text on them and it takes a professional to make this text help you rank higher.

Back Links

I perform back linking to provide the highest quality link that Google will see as natural and a part of your industry. Finding and securing these links is not easy and it requires a steady acquisition of links over time to make it pay off. I manually review online in Google and other resource sites extracting other sites within your industry that you may be able to link with. These include directories, resource sites, paid industry resource directories, .org, guest blogs and others.

Competitor Marketing

Review, research and study your competitor's who rank on page one in Google to see where they have links and to then approach and procure back links from the same places your competitor has a back link. I invented this seo tactic for back link building nicknaming it "Piggy Backing" in 1995.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Directory Submissions Necessary?

The simple answer is yes, a search engine submission isn’t necessary. The majority of search engines, notably Google, crawl and index pages by following links. By that logic, a single inbound link from any previously indexed page will identify your page to the engine. But Directories do require a submission and we have 24+ years experience finding the best do follow General Directories, Industry Specific and Regional Directories. Some Industry directories and associations charge a monthly or yearly fee and should be considered based on their site traffic and Google ranking.

What’s The Deal With Paid Search Submissions?

Many Directories offer paid search submissions but beware: It doesn’t cost a penny to get indexed by the major search engines. And it shouldn’t cost you anything for Directories, either. Submitting to top General, Industry and Regional Directories is a great way to build up solid back links that Google wants to see to rank you higher. Submitting to these top directories should always be free and they should always be a Do Follow directory. This means Google has decided to let the directory have pages that will pass off link juice and pagerank.

Can Any Inbound Linking Hurt My Ranking?

The answer is clear and simple: No, inbound linking cannot hurt your Google search ranking. If inbound were to hurt your ranking, your competitors would continually link to your site from link farms. Such a scenario is beyond your control. For this reason, Google cannot penalize your site for any inbound linking.

Are Blogs Good for SEO?

Whether blogs are good for SEO purposes is actually irrelevant--the content is key. Blogs are simply publishing platforms. Having said that, the ability to produce high quality content on an ongoing basis can be made much easier by leveraging blog software - especially for the for non-technical user.
